These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Nöem Worktops website and the purchase of products and services from us. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or purchase from us.

1. Introduction

1.1. **Nöem Worktops** ("we", "our", "us") operates the website [www.noemworktops.com](http://www.noemworktops.com) ("Website"). By using the Website and purchasing products from us, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

1.2. We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time, and such changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. You are encouraged to review these Terms regularly to stay informed of any updates.

2. Products and Services

2.1. Product Specifications  

Any variation in quantity, specifications, or customizations may be subject to a change in costs. We reserve the right to amend the pricing and specifications of the products where necessary.

2.2. Quotations  

All quotations provided are subject to change if a pricing error is identified. Should a pricing error occur, we will notify you and provide the option to cancel the order and receive a refund of any deposit, provided no costs have been incurred.

2.3. Substitutions 

In the event of supply issues with a specified product, particularly with natural stone materials such as granite or quartz, we reserve the right to offer an alternative material or color. If procurement of your specified color is not economically viable, we will contact you with alternative options.

3. Delivery and Installation

3.1. Delivery Terms 

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout and depend on the size of the order and delivery location. We will make every effort to deliver the products according to your reasonable requirements. 

3.2. Congestion Charges  

Nöem Worktops reserves the right to apply an additional charge in areas where a congestion charge applies.

3.3. Parking and Permits 

If specific parking arrangements are required for delivery or installation, you must supply us or our installers/drivers with a valid parking permit. If the necessary permit is not provided, the visit may be aborted.

3.4. Installation Terms

Where installation is included, please be aware that the manufacturer supplies only two installers. For larger worktops or island units, additional labor may be required for health and safety reasons. In such cases, we will provide a separate quote for the additional cost of extra labor.

3.5. Installation Requirements 

For installation to proceed, base units must be fixed level, and appliances must be disconnected before the fitters arrive on-site. Please ensure all tops and fittings are removed before templates are taken. If these requirements are not met, the visit may be aborted, and you will be charged an aborted visit fee.

3.6. Abort Fees

If you cancel a template or installation appointment within 2 working days, an abort fee of £180.00 will be charged. Note that weekends and bank holidays are not considered working days.

4. Bespoke Products

Bespoke items, including made-to-order worktops, are not eligible for return unless they are faulty or damaged.

5. Quality and Specifications

5.1. Product Variations 

Due to the nature of natural stone and materials like quartz, some variations in color, pattern, and texture may occur. Light colors may have dark spots, and dark colors may have light spots, which are a result of the manufacturing process and are not considered defects.

5.2. Polishing

Quartz worktops are polished using precision machinery during manufacturing. However, when fabricating custom pieces, such as breakfast bars, they may not be polished to the same standard as the main surfaces.

5.3. Hob, Sink, and Tap Hole Placement 

The positions for hobs, sinks, and taps must be determined at the time of templating. Failure to provide these details may result in a delay in the installation.

5.4. Framework and Plumbing

Unless specifically noted in our quotation, any required supporting framework is to be supplied by others. We do not provide plumbing services below the waste outlet.

6. Inspection and Acceptance

6.1. Inspection Upon Delivery

The Buyer must inspect all goods immediately upon delivery. If any goods are damaged or missing, the Buyer must notify us in writing or by telephone within 24 hours of delivery and sign for the goods as damaged. After this period, the Buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the goods and cannot reject them.

6.2. Product Samples

We recommend contacting our sales office for samples of current stock. While we make every effort to ensure products match samples, we cannot accept responsibility for any differences once the product has been manufactured, especially for natural materials such as granite and quartz.

7. Liability and Limitations

7.1. Liability 

Our liability is limited to the total amount paid by you for the goods. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the products or the Website.

7.2. Product Quality  

While we strive to deliver products that meet your expectations, please note that colors and textures in stone products may vary due to their natural origin.
